Dear Member:
In accordance with the Bylaws of Seaboard Federal Credit Union (SFCU), this letter is sent to communicate the following official notices of SFCU.
The SFCU Annual Meeting will be Friday, April 25, 2025, the place and time to be determined.
For 2025, there are two Board openings for three-year terms. The Nominating Committee has selected:
Three-Year Term
• Wendy Haslam, Director of Institutional Research and Financial Analyst at Maine Maritime Academy and former 13-year employee at Verso Paper. Wendy has served as a Seaboard FCU director for 15 years and has acted as Secretary/Treasurer for 5 years. Wendy previously was a member of Seaboard FCU’s Supervisory Committee for 4 years, and was a past Chair. She has a BS in Computer Engineering and a MBA from the University of Maine.
• Tony Manzo, Retiree of Old Town Canoe and former 17-year employee of Verso Paper. Mr. Manzo has served as a Seaboard FCU director for 22 years and has acted as Chair for 18 years. Tony previously was a member of SFCU’s Supervisory Committee for 6 years, acting as Chair for 5 years. He has a BS in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Maine.
Nominations for the vacancies may also be made by petition. You must complete two required forms, “Nomination by Petition” and “Qualifications and Biographical Information”. The petition form must be signed by 1% of Seaboard Federal Credit Union members, which equals 138 signatures. All forms and petitions must be returned to the Chair of the Nominating Committee, (address below), by March 7, 2025.

The election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. If so, the Secretary will cast one ballot for the nominees at the annual meeting.
Should a ballot be required, members will be notified on March 14, 2025 of all the names that will appear on the ballot. Elections for the new board members will then take place at the Ellsworth and Hermon offices on April 24 and the Bucksport office on April 25. If you have any questions, please call (207) 469-6341.
